Il ponte è medievale, come il palazzo che vedete nascosto dalla chiesa, mentre l'oratorio è stato ricostruito dopo l'alluvione del 1732. La chiesa di Nostra Donna risale al XVI secolo, quando venne edificato l’oratorio sede della "Compagnia di Nostra Donna del Castel di Pontremoli", poi della "Società dei Disciplinati della Beata Maria della Neve" e quindi della "Confraternità della Concezione di Nostra Donna". Con l’alluvione del 1732, la chiesa, posta proprio accanto al fiume Magra, dovette essere ricostrutita e l’opera fu affidata a Giovan Battista Natali che lo caratterizzò per il suo stile barocco nella decorazione della grande cupola, dell’abside, delle cappelle, delle porte e delle balconate dell’organo e della galleria. All’interno si ammirano opere pittoriche del Galeotti, dietro il primo e il secondo altare e del Gherardini, dietro il terzo altare, così come un prezioso organo d’epoca e paramenti sacri del 1700.
