★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La cripta di Santa Maria della Grotta, posta a circa 1 km dal centro urbano in direzione nord-est, si presenta a pianta trapezoidale a tre navate con absidi quadrangolari. La cripta fece parte di un'antica abbazia di basiliani del IX secolo e presenta un vasto ciclo di affreschi. L'ipogeo è sovrastato da una chiesa ad aula unica del XV secolo. Numerose sono le cellette dei monaci, ancora esistenti. La struttura, di proprietà privata, necessita di un intervento di recupero.
 The crypt of Santa Maria della Grotta, located about 1 km from the city center in a north-eastern direction, has a trapezoidal plan with three naves and quadrangular apses. The crypt was part of an ancient abbey of Basilians from the 9th century and has a vast cycle of frescoes. The hypogeum is dominated by a single church from the 15th century. There are numerous cells of the monks, still existing. The structure, privately owned, needs to be restored.
