★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dispiace essere giunto in centro storico in ora tarda e aver trovato chiusa questa magnifica chiesa barocca che già nella sua facciata rivela tutti i tratti caratteristici dello stile. Ho ammirato le foto dell'interno prodotte dagli altri recensori e mi riprometto di venirla a visitare appena possibile.
 Sorry to have arrived in the historic center in the late hour and found this magnificent baroque church closed which already reveals all the characteristic features of the style in its facade. I admired the photos of the interior produced by the other reviewers and I plan to visit it as soon as possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella Chiesa costruita in pietra leccese sulla bella Piazza di Galatina. All’interno da ammirare nella cappella a sinistra dell’altare maggiore la Madonna in marmo del Sammartini i cui delicatissimi panneggi del velo ricordano la Cappella S Severo di Napoli.
Beautiful church built in Lecce stone on the beautiful Piazza di Galatina. Inside, in the chapel to the left of the main altar, the Madonna in marble by Sammartini, whose delicate drapery of the veil is reminiscent of the S Severo Chapel in Naples, can be admired.

Ma chi la gestisce ancor di più. Don Lucio è una persona speciale, giovanile e con cui poter fare lunghe e serie conversazioni.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apre il centro storico di Galatina la chiesa madre dei Santi patroni. Struggente la sera dove si esalta l'arte della costruzione leccese. Da non perdere la volta e la scultura del Cristo in croce dietro l'altare. Vi è anche la pietra ove la tradizione racconta che l'apostolo Pietro si riposó nel lungo viaggio che lo porterà a Roma.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Une des deux perles de Galatina. Non loin de la belle place ombragée et de la porte monumentale vous trouverez cette belle place qui laisse une belle vue dégagée vers cette belle église. Une façade très belle et à l’intérieur un subtil mélange entre la pierre et les ornements somptueux. Un bel édifice à ne pas manquer !
