S	Stefano B. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Circondata dal verde dei campi, questa cripta presenta un avancorpo in muratura con un piccolo campanile sul retro. varcato il cancello, una breve scalinata in pietra leccese consumata dal tempo conduce in una piccola struttura scavata nella roccia. Un ipogeo caratterizzato da 4 colonne quadrangolari e alcuni affreschi nei pressi del presbiterio. Un foro nel muro della navata destra, cela un angusto cunicolo, ormai murato, che secondo la leggenda conduceva ad un piccolo nucleo abitativo. K	Kaffenback on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non si hanno notizie certe circa la fondazione di questo complesso ipogeico, tuttavia lo si può datare fra i secoli XII-XIV. La costruzione, che presenta una planimetria a tre navate, doveva far parte di un antico Cenobio di Basiliani e doveva essere affrescata. All'esterno della cripta è presente una nicchia con altorilievo cinquecentesco raffigurante due angeli che sorreggono un drappo che fa da sfondo a Sant'Anna e alla Vergine col Bambino. Una simile rappresentazione è visibile anche nella lunetta del portale della chiesa di Santa Maria della Misericordia, opera questa del 1579. There is no definite information about the foundation of this hypogeum complex, however it can be dated between the 12th and 14th centuries. The building, which has a three-nave plan, was to be part of an ancient Cenobio of Basiliani and was to be frescoed. Outside the crypt there is a niche with a sixteenth-century high-relief depicting two angels supporting a drape that acts as a backdrop to Sant'Anna and the Virgin and Child. A similar representation is also visible in the lunette of the portal of the church of Santa Maria della Misericordia, this work from 1579.
