★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a statue of the famous shewolf who took care of Romulus (the founder of Rome) and Remus (the one the Rome is named after) and gave them of her milk. Later on Romulus killed Remus.
The statue itself is in side the museum but there is a copy of it just outside of museum on the view of Roman Forum.
It might seems just like a normal statue but there is a great story behind it so do not leave Rome without seeing it (or at least its copy).

Babies, Romulus and Romus suckled by a she-wolf, which is the symbol of City of Rome. The story is lengthy and request to refer to Google.
However, Romulus kills his brother Romus and found The Kingdom of Rome!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The She Wolf who suckled Romulus and Remus. This is an exquisite bronze you won’t want to miss, and it’s easy to. She is just on the left of the center building in the Capitolina. The museums there are sublime. The Capitolina itself is a wonder. For me, this is the real Rome. To know this plaza is to understand why Rome is the Eternal City.
