Fabulous, definitely worth seeing, destination for a nice relaxing walk where sea views and alleys are the delight for visitors, all around a myriad of characteristic places offer local delights.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Todo el trayecto a lo largo de Lungomare di Levante es hermoso. Las mejores vistas se pueden obtener caminado por este sendero paralelo al mar Mediterráneo. Sobre todo al atardecer, las imágenes son insuperables. De lo mejor de Ortigia, sin duda.
The whole journey along Lungomare di Levante is beautiful. The best views can be obtained by walking along this path parallel to the Mediterranean Sea. Especially at sunset, the images are second to none. The best of Ortigia, without a doubt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ of the four places to swim around the peninsula of ortigia, two are just swimming holes accessed by a steep set of old rickety stairs; another offers a small beach however it's very rocky with a lot of settlement in the water due to lack of current; and finally the last is a straightforward walk in beach on the west side near the marina, Although the water is not as clear on the side due to heavy boat traffic. the lungomare sidewalk lining the peninsula is useful however plagued by noisy traffic which should be diverted outside ortigia making the entire history record pedestrian free which many other important sites around the world have done but it's late in coming to sicily
