β β β β β We stopped at Celano to see the castle on the way back to Rome and Popped in here for a quick lunch lunch before going to look around, or thatβs what we intended. The chef/ owner came over to tell us the menu for the day and it was clear he was extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the incredible ingredients the region had to offer. The cheese and meat selection of the antipasti plate was probably one the best Iβve eaten; the pasta, made by his 87 year old mother, was delicious and well cooked and it was so nice to see her rolling it outside the kitchen. Overall a really delicious experience.

β β β β β Definitely reserve in advance!! The pasta and desserts are absolutely incredible. The service is great and itβs once of the best meals weβve had in Italy. Iβm in shock that this restaurant isnβt Michelin guide recommended at the very least.

β β β β β Superlative. One of the very best cheese/meat platters I've had, ever. Food all top-drawer, prices very fair. Beautiful setting, service is perfect (friendly, passionate, unobtrusive). Book ahead, but do go!

β β β β β WOW! Best pasta I ate and loved seeing the women cook in the kitchen. I went twice, the waiter (who speaks English very, very well) was so kind and attentive- great guy. The owner seems very outgoing and loves to interact with his guests. He doesn't speak English so when I am back I will have brushed up on my Italian to let him know how wonderful his food and restaurant is. Highly recommend it. It's a MUST when you're in Celano. Thank you for the most wonderful evenings at my own little "Julie Table" :-)
