β β β β β Very very noisy. Impossible to sleep at night or rest during the day. We have been here three nights and two of those nights the hotel has held functions where the music (and noisy fireworks last night) started during the day and last last night went past midnight. Today the hotel hosted two functions with both starting around midday with I believe at least one live band......it is now 10.30pm and there is no sign of the music nor the noisy people settling. In fact I am now listening to people yelling up the hallway outside my door and also outside my window. The hotel is lovely, the staff are very friendly, however the noise makes this hotel pretty much unbearable. It is such a shame as the hotel is situated in a beautiful spot. I understand that this is the way the hotel makes a living however, it doesn't work for guests who would actually like to sleep. For what its worth, in my opinion either sound proof the venue or make a choice between hosting functions or hosting hotel guests. Also, we haven't had hot water today and it is very cool outside. If it wasn't for the noise I would give this hotel 4 stars, but sadly if there was a no star option i would opt for that.

β β β β β The breakfast was OK but heavily sweet oriented. Bed was harder than I generally come across and the blanket on the bed is not covered with duvet. Staff was friendly and helpful, the price for the hotel is totally acceptable and the whole building has a great style with castle feeling.

β β β β β Beautiful inside and out! The food was amazing, service excellent, rooms very comfortable. The grounds are almost like an arboretum or park, so beautifully designed by the family. It seemed like a beautiful view from every window. Can't wait to return. Grazie !

β β β β β It was OK. Front desk workers were smoking cigarettes (nasty) and the hotel and it's furniture/accommodations looked like they were from the 80s and hadn't been updated since. The location was decent, it was at the base of Celano with a short 15 minute drive to the mountain. If you're going hiking all day and out doing stuff I think it's a good hotel to stay at. But it's certainly not a four star property and is probably not worth the price that is listed there. Would I stay here again if I were going back to Celano? Maybe, but I wouldn't necessarily look here first.
