I bought a Le Labo hand cream and body cream on internet before, but I wanted to try more so I went to this shop. When I was there, only one staff in the shop and he was checking out. So I picked up the perfume card to smell the scent (I didn't touch the perfume bottle), and the staff immediately told me not to touch it, saying that only he can touch it. So I waited for 5 minutes, he was still checking out. This is my worst experience ever. Will never buy anything from this brand again!

Been a Le Labo customer for years, I was delighted it opened in Milan where I currently live. Although the shop is beautiful and the products are amazing I found the staff quite cold and distant.

I regret to say that my experience with Le Labo customer service Milan was an absolute let down. Being in Milan for work I decided to visit the store. I was looking forward buying the 55 ml Santal 33 and take advantage of the tax free refund. Being jet lag and distracted and rushed by a customer who was upset for having to wait outside I completely forgot to ask for the tax free document. The following time I was in Milan, a little over a week later, I called the store. This is when I experienced one of the most uncomfortable customer service conversations. Valentina answered and remembered who I was exactly from my in person visit. She knew then I was traveling internationally. When I explained what I needed help with she immediately got defensive and with a nervous laugh told me what I wanted to do was absurd and even more β€œillegal”. How incredibly insulting and to say that to a customer. I knew what I was asking was 1. Possible and 2. Legal. I travel the world for work and leisure and are familiar with tax free procedures. She used a condescending tone. She was uncomfortable, probably because she was not familiar with duty free procedures and policy, so much that later she told me she went to consult with Aveda next door (as if they were the experts). I felt treated badly for such a small request, it was clear that my business was no longer appreciated. At one point the call dropped and I couldn’t get through for a while, she called back and told me she would look into my request, (I suppose all of the sudden what I asked it wasn’t illegal anymore). She asked me for my email even though she had my phone number, to communicate to me what I expected was coming Fact, the next morning, she emailed me stating she couldn’t do anything. Shockingly she signed the email as the store manager. I love the perfume, however I look forward the day where it doesn’t remind me of such negative customer service experience I had with the Milan Store manager. As a refined fragrance store, they should have a refined communication style well and a big plus would be asking the clients if they need tax free documents. I will save my future Le Labo purchases for the locations I have experienced a more sophisticated customer service with: Paris and New York City. β€œOften is not what you say but how you say it”.

Amazing service. The shop has great, calm atmosphere. It was almost relaxing. The lady that showed us the fragrances was very passionate and knowledgeable. She made us feel like we were there to appreciate the beauty of the perfumes (which by the way are stunning). Overall, amazing experience. Highly recommended.

I’m generally a big fan of Le Labo so I pass by the shops internationally and always ask about the city exclusive I was shocked that Millan don’t have a city exclusive yet. The sales lady was very helpful and very informative about the after care and how the products are consumed in the most ideal way possible which made our experience extraordinary.
