★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is great. The ambiance and cute little restaurant. The food is not that special. It was not bad. But not good either. We had lot better food for way less in florence. I am real foodie so i was sad this place did not live up to the expectation. We did not tip because the waiters were forgetful and busy(which can happen no big deal). However they had real stank attitude about it. Too bad. You can also take it as a learning moment. We were never rude and we were quite understanding that it was busy and end of the night. But i am not tipping for a non-service. I feel they live of the hype of the ambiance and they try to be too fancy. Rather make the food more simple but tasy, you will win every time. In the area you have great other restaurants. Maybe it was this specific night because i see sooo many great reviews or maybe im just used to better food? Who knows, I can say I had better in florence though!

Two times the waitress brought us a different wine against our specific demands and, when we asked for explanation, they reacted badly adding “you shouldn’t have requested that wine”. It looks as the place was managed completely in an unprofessional way.
Regarding the food, the tortello was too spicy and the risotto absolutely not tasteful with a strange muddy consistence.
Probably the worst experience I had with a restaurant, very unpleasent for a city such Florence where the food and wine offer is huge. We probably chose one of the few bad places in the city.
