R	Ryan Kim on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ now, I won't leave a 1 star review because I'm not out to hurt the restaurant. the waiter I spoke with was very respectful and cordial of my feedback. I ordered the tagliata (sirloin) with high hopes for the food here. the steak was EXTREMELY DRY and tough. in the picture I attached, you can see the rim is grey and the middle being blood red. it looks more like a seared tuna. I suspect the steak was frozen. they called this "medium rare". if this is medium rare, I never want to eat a steak in Italy again. universally, regardless of culture, this is not acceptable for a restaurant-quality steak. if you think I'm full of it, message me privately and I'm happy to enlighten you. although this wasn't what they were known for, it isn't difficult to cook a great tasting sirloin for any restaurant. maybe next time I'll skip this dish and try something else.

Suggested price and quality speaking. Also, this place in not too touristic and it sticks to the traditional cooking and flavors.

I first went to Brindellone in my first week in Florence, and ate there more times than I can count over the months I lived in the city. Food? Incredible. Wine? Divine. Crew? Friendly and warmth. I've had lunches and dinners, with my family and friends. Here I made other friends and have so many stories to tell. You will not find this in many other places in Florence, or in the world, I tell you that. Check the photos and book your place. If in doubt, reach out to me!

Pappa di pomodoro, tagliatelle con coniglio, stracciatella and every meat dish are amazing. The convivial atmosphere, tables close to one another, filled with people enjoying litres of wine will probably entertain your soul as well.

We will surely go back when we stop by Florence again. We had mix local cold cuts and coccoli (delicious fried ball bread). I had the Florentine Steak and fried artichokes. I highly recommend this place!

The owner is extremely hospitable and showed me a good time by pairing me up with another solo diner. Be sure to get a reservation ahead of time as they fill up quickly.

You would eat Pasta with truffle everyday. Service was great and they were very kind, offered complimentary side dish. Ans yes, pepposo, you must try here.
