La parte abitativa è molto suggestiva mentre il lato un tempo dimora signorile ha l'idea di abbandono. Ma resta molto bello e di trova a due passi da un'Oasi con animali. Beautiful place. I didn't expect to find a castle in the middle of the Pavia countryside. The inhabited part is very suggestive while the side once a stately home has the idea of abandonment. But it remains very beautiful and is within walking distance of an oasis with animals.

A	Anna on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il castello si trova fuori dall'abitato è composto da due strutture, il ricetto e il castello del 1300. Dal ricetto si accede al castello, imponente edificio quadrilatero con un cortile porticato ad archi, una torre quadrata e una scalinata esterna. Il cuore è la cappella di San Gervasio che si trova a piano terra del mastio, con portale di terracotta e rosone. Il castello apparteneva alla Abbazia di San Pietro in ciel d'oro ma nel 1569 con papa Ghislieri diventò proprietà del collegio Ghislieri che ha provveduto al restauro. The castle is located outside the town and consists of two structures, the shelter and the castle from 1300. From the shelter you enter the castle, an imposing quadrilateral building with an arched arcaded courtyard, a square tower and an external staircase. The heart is the chapel of San Gervasio which is located on the ground floor of the keep, with a terracotta portal and rose window. The castle belonged to the Abbey of San Pietro in ciel d'oro but in 1569 with Pope Ghislieri it became the property of the Ghislieri college which restored it.
