★ ★ ★ ★ ★ E' il terzo lago artificiale in ordine di tempo realizzato in Alta Formazza dopo il Castel ed il Toggia.
Essendo a poca distanza dai parcheggi è una meta facile da raggiungere e quindi molto frequentata; una strada sterrata ne permette, poi, il periplo.
Per apprezzarlo al meglio occorre però salire sulle montagne circostanti e guardarlo dall'alto.
It is the third artificial lake in order of time built in Alta Formazza after the Castel and the Toggia.
Being a short distance from the car parks, it is an easy to reach and therefore very popular destination; a dirt road allows, then, the circumnavigation.
To appreciate it at its best, however, you need to climb the surrounding mountains and look at it from above.

Un sentiero permette di fare un anello attorno al lago,posto carino e tranquillo.
Lago di Morasco is located in the upper Val Formazza, overlooking the village of Riale.
A path allows you to make a loop around the lake, a nice and quiet place.

One of the many artificial lakes in the Alps. A pleasant visit, a crossing point for much better Alpine views.
