★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The highest fall in the Alps: 143 mt! In the late 20s the spring of the Toce river has been entrapped by a dam. Consquently the falls are now visible only during the summer time, July and August almost every day, June and September only few days. Check online. To view it, 10' walk to the base and and/or a boardwalk in the empty space on the top

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An old trade route and wow this must have been a popular stopping point for hundreds of years. I love the way there is a jetti that allows you to feel extra close to this dramatic waterfall. the valley leading up to it has many waterfalls, more if rained. I reccomend a visit. it's up a long dead end road from beneco. but there are places to stay and great walking at good altitude after the dam and mountain hut.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Impressive waterfall and the surrounding plateau enclosed in a circle of peaks and ridges. Very suggestive when covered in snow. Lendas itself to hiking and alpine skiing, as well as leisurely times. Easily reached by car which makes it toddlers and elderly friendly as a bonus. Worth the visit and a go at the Restaurant 'Le Alpi' that offers a variety of very good local foods and a superlative 'fil de fer', a piedmontese answer to eggnog, warm and topped with whipped-cream.
