Utilizzato fin dal medioevo o dalle popolazioni Walser, da pellegrini e viandanti; legato alla storia della Repubbllica dell'Ossola è ora meta di bellissime escursioni. E' emozionante camminare su questi sentieri pensando a quanto hanno visto in secoli di storia.
A historic pass between Val Formazza and Bedretto. Used since the Middle Ages or by the Walser populations, by pilgrims and travelers; linked to the history of the Ossola Republic, it is now a destination for beautiful excursions. It is exciting to walk on these paths thinking about what they have seen in centuries of history.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ciao a tutti, arrivati alle Cascate del Toce circa un km avanti c'è un comodo parcheggio a pagamento (4,00€ al giorno)da lì si può salire al Lago Morasco facilmente raggiungibile con la strada, oppure al Passo San Giacomo, spettacolo della natura, raggiungibile con un sentiero facile praticabile in Mountain bike e un secondo sentiero con gradoni a tratti abbastanza ripido che arriva fino alla piana del lago di Toggia poi si prosegue per il Passo sul sentiero facile (praticamente è una strada)... Si arriva in c.ca 1h,15m. dalla diga, cmq una volta arrivati lo spettacolo appaga della "fatica"...
Hello everyone, when you arrive at the Toce waterfalls about a kilometer ahead there is a convenient paid parking (€ 4.00 per day) from there you can go up to Lake Morasco easily accessible by road, or to the San Giacomo Pass, show of nature, reachable with an easy path practicable by mountain bike and a second path with steps at times quite steep that reaches the plain of Lake Toggia then continue to the Pass on the easy path (practically it is a road) ... Yes arrives in about 1h, 15m. from the dam, cmq once you arrive the show satisfies the "fatigue" ...
