★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was average at lunch and we had one very friendly waitress but the next one was surly and unhelpful. Pity, it's a lovely setting but there are better places to eat in Cefalu .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Frittedda. Wow. Such a great and delightful bit of flavour after a week of pasta, bread and various forms of tomatoes. :-D For those who like daal or other lentil dishes, this will be a great surprise. The place itself is lovely, with a lot on offer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a find! Don't know why its rated so low on google. Past the duomo up a hill, off the tourist centre. Fabulous wines and enoteca. Popular with locals. We had pasta etna which was spicy and tasty, and the best swordfish messinase that we have tasted in sicily. Plus an amazing seaview on the terrace. Great selection of reasonably priced local wines. Very fair price for the area. Highly recommended.
