★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ruins are quite okay preserved, and offers an amazing view to Cefalu and the surrounding. It is worth the hike and the blazing sun. Best to visit with shoes and water but it is a nore long or difficult hike, the first third has stairs mostly from where you can also reach the temples of Diana and St. Anna.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only €5 for a ticket, easy ascend/descent (even in sneakers), the ruin of the castle isn't that impressive (since there is almost nothing left), there's also a decent forest-y portion if you decide to walk around the Rocco and not straight to the top (where we've only met one person). It's really nice to get away from people and get an impressive view of the village. It's also really clean and there are multiple benches for a break. Would recommend!
