Beside the fact that the location is just magical, with the best view of the square just on the bottom of the cathedral giving us a majestic and dazzling angle of the Duomo! The terrace is so charming and warm, taking you completely in a wonderful universe! And if the location and framework are that good, the cuisine brings it to another level! Each dish will be a true gustatory revelation. And let’s finish with the best: the staff! A warm welcome, only smiling faces getting you the best! My friend absolutely wanted pasta alla carbonara and even though it was not on the menue they were really happy to cook it for her! The waiters will always have a special attention making you feel the most important guess of the restaurant. I forgot my credit card at the counter desk, and was looked for until the Marina to be handed back my card with a big generous smile! Thank you again for this kindness! I would definetly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to have a magical Italian experience.

She's such a lovely and funny woman, impossible to resist. Thanks for pulling us in. In the end we ordered a swordfish caponata, which was from a different planet, seafood spaghetti and fettuccine with shrimp and pistachios. The main courses were both really, though not the best we had in Sicily. My wife could only manage to eat the seafood out of her pasta since due to lack of tummy space, but I managed my fettuccine with pure will power. The only odd thing (for Italy) was that no bread was offered - I am sure we would have got some if we had asked, but still... Of course the location is top notch and you have to be prepared to dine with an audience, sitting on the Duomo stairs. Tomorrow, we will have something smaller. ?
J	Jean-Baptiste FOREST on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really well located in front of the cathedral, this traditional Sicilian restaurant has a very nice outdoor terrace with a view over the monument, the mountain and the plazza. Food wise, they offer most of the classic local dishes using fresh ingredients and seafood. They were all very tasty, however some plates were over oily.. The staff in general was friendly although sometimes too busy over other tables but they offered us a digestif at the end !
