The views are amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A vigorous 90 min hike (less than an hour up if you’re hustling), and a view like no other from the top, not to mention the fascinating ruins. Wear good shoes!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quick but steep hike up (1.0 mile long with a 650-foot vertical climb) to amazing views of Cefalú and the surrounding area. Total time up and back took us about 1.5 hours, including exploring the ruins and archeological area. We were warned about not doing it in the rain, and some of the paths would be very slippery when wet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They charge you an entry fee at the bottom. Feels like a bit of a shakedown since it's not a formal booth, but it's totally worth it. The hike is an actual hike that takes about 25 minutes just to get up to the top. The views and the ruins are beautiful, though. Wear sneakers, trust me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The opening time is confused. We were there yesterday at 3 p.m., but it was closed due to "adverse weather conditions".
It was warm and sunny, without any cloud on the sky. Low airflow.
Despite of this, we saw several people in the park even around 5 p.m.
