★ ★ ★ ★ ★ per andar su si lascia la macchina a ristorante bocche silvestri e si va su a vista dietro la schiena d'asino , si vede gia' la punta della cima montagnola , e' facile nel senso che e' impossibile perdersi, ma dura fisicamente , tanto da camminare e su sabbia vulcanica di porfido nero , classico che fai un passo in su' e mezzo indietro, andate su attrezzati di scarponi da montagna alti, appunto per non riempirvi di sabbia le scarpe, e abbigliamento per vento gelido , si patrte da 2000 e si arriva a 2700 mt

Wonderful scenery in summer .. enchanting in winter where you can ski regularly with the excellent ski lifts .. you can enjoy the view of half Sicily with skis on your feet ..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an easy peak to reach well before the main crater. Nice view at about 2600m. We saw numerous lady bugs as well as key black rocks mixed with bright red rocks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best panorama ever. On south side of the mountain Etna, near to the station Funivia, you can see all the valey, down to the sea and Catania, but olso to the east, to Taormina. Easy to reach, no more than minutes from cratere del Laghetto, on easy tracks, no guides needed. Do not forget your camera. Have a nice trip.
