★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stupenda esperienza!! Da Piano Provenzano dista 10 km raggiungibile a piedi lungo il sentiero percorso dai fuoristrada che accompagnano alla base dei crateri e l'osservatorio. Quando ci sono stato io dal cratere uscivano fumi e boati. Ovviamente non bisogna respirare i fumi per non perdere i sensi e non bisogna avvicinarsi troppo. Io sono rimasto a circa 5 metri dal bordo del cono e assicuro che quando c'erano i boati la terra tremava sotto i piedi. Sarebbe ottimo, per chi fosse interessato a foto o riprese, andarci con un drone. Rifarò sicuramente questa esperienza. Per andarci serve un po' di allenamento e un po' di fiato il dislivello è di circa 1400 metri in circa 10km. Io ci ho impiegato 3 ore a raggiungere la cima.
Superb experience !! From Piano Provenzano it is 10 km away, reachable on foot along the path traveled by the off-road vehicles that accompany the base of the craters and the observatory. When I was there, smoke and roars came out of the crater. Obviously you don't have to breathe the fumes in order not to lose consciousness and you don't have to get too close. I stayed about 5 meters from the edge of the cone and I assure you that when there were roars the ground shook under my feet. It would be great, for those interested in photos or filming, to go there with a drone. I will definitely do this experience again. To go there you need a little training and a little breath the difference in height is about 1400 meters in about 10km. It took me 3 hours to reach the top.
