★ ★ ★ ★ ★ really rustic retreat high up above the lake. the food can be a little heavy but its great to just try. chestnuts, boar, polenta, porcini & venison make loads of appearances on the menu. I love the malfatti

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My girl friend and I stopped for lunch at La Griglia on a hot summer day and are thankful for it! Run by a mother and son team in the kitchen, the porcini pasta was oozing love and passion. The son was very friendly and checked in to make sure we were having a good time. He let us try the raw porcini they just got at a market with some Parmesan and herbs then topped off the meal with some local limoncello ? Some people might recommend Locanda Sant’Anna next door for the view and the bigger portions but we tried that spot too and La Griglia is more authentic, with better ingredients and cooked more tastefully with more love! Do not miss this gem when in Como!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely perfect experience. The staff was well prepared and received us very well. The room was pristine, with a great bed and a beautiful view from the balcony. The shower was also great. The restaurant was great, with many options all prepared to perfection.
