★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is very nice, with a view of lake Como in the distance (you can see Villa Balbianello and Bellagio behind it). The food is very reasonably priced. The only criticism we have is that some of our dishes were considerably too salty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a Sunday. The sun was shining. Como was in its full majesty. It was a beautiful stop. Perched on a hill looking down to the lake. The snow capped mountains beyond. The pizzocherri was a hearty local dish. I'd probably go for something else next time. But the truffle faraona dissosata ripiene di castagna blew me away. Guinea fowl, chestnuts, truffle, fresh thyme, gravy all over a potato rosti was a "get the f out of here" dish. Worthy. Go there. Oh and desserts were sexcellent too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is a bit difficult to reach and may not be feasible without a car. The view from the place is amazing. I tried the pizzoccheri and it was one of the best pizzoccheri that I had. Definitely worth a visit while in the Como area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We used the grounds to host our destination wedding ceremony with 25 guests ... we are all from the USA. Alberto was wonderful to work with, they did an outstanding job with the food, the price was very reasonable, their service was top notch, and they were flexible with any of our desires. It was the most perfect of days, in one of the most amazing locations ... overlooking Lake Como! We can't wait to go back for another glass of wine, on their terrace. Our friends are STILL talking about it!

Still the location is just great having a nice view to the lake and the surrounding mountains.
The Italian cuisine was delicious and supported very nicely with great service.

Locanda sant'anna is set in a lovely position on the hills 3 km from the lake.
Our room was very clean and comfortable.
We especially enjoyed our dinner which was served outdoors with a wonderful view and consisted of local dishes.
I'm a vegetarian and I was spoilt for choice (which is unusual for Italian restaurants).
I think we will make it into a regular stop over when we drive to Italy.
