The polenta with cheese is good to try. The vegetable soup is not great. However, desserts are really not worth their price. Overall, very expensive for what it is.

We were extremely disappointed by the service and quality of food upon our visit to this restaurant. We travelled very far to visit this restaurant for dinner, as my Italian friend recommended it and I was excited to try a new place with my friends who were visiting a como for the first time. I am American, but my husband is Italian and we have dined many times in Italian restaurants, so I understand what to expect in terms of services and protocol. On this occasion my husband was not dining with us, and my Italian is limited , so I’m sure it appeared we were just foreigners, and we were treated accordingly. We were left to sit for long periods of time , our order was wrong and multiple items forgotten , there were bugs in the food. The food arrived burnt, and appeared to have been old or leftover scraps from a larger plate of food. It very much felt as if we were not given the same treatment or quality of food as the Italians dining close by. There was no language confusion as the waiter was also the concierge and spoke fluent English. They just didn’t seem to care about giving us the same care and attention as we were “ just foreigners “. I have never been treated this way in a restaurant when I am accompanied by my Italian husband. I was incredibly disappointed and will never go back to the restaurant again. I felt that my money was wasted as the food and service was terrible. +++++ Ovviamente la risposta dei proprietari qui sotto e' in linea con l'atteggiamento che ha subito mia moglie. I had pasta with tomato sauce for about 15€ and I was very disappointed. It was boring and bland. No fresh herbs or anything special. Not even good spices or some garlic. My girlfriend had ravioli with cheese and sage which was delicious but like the tomato sauce a very small portion and equal expensive. Service was fine. Would not recommend.

A true gem!!! Very delicious high quality restaurant, convenient and spacious bed & breakfast, cozy bistro & high quality wine shop located in and around the beautiful historic post office of Argegno right at the lake. It’s off the beaten track, hidden from the tourist crowds, which we really liked! It’s the perfect place to visit if you want to experience the true lake Como. It’s family run and highly professional. The owner Niccolò greets you every day at the restaurant and together with his team he makes sure you get everything you need. Even if you are not fluent in Italian he and his team will make sure you have the best possible time at lake Como! Will definitely be back!

High quality Northern Italian cooking (polenta, ravioli wild garlic) in a lovely restaurant setting in Argegno, which has plenty of parking by the port. The menu is clearly focused on local cuisine highlights and everything we had was tasty. The hosts were very attentive and we felt welcomed from the beginning.

We had the slow cooked lamb and lake fish. Delicious. Not huge portions (we added a side of veggies) but perfect for us. Lovely views, next to a trickling creek, and the staff were friendly. The food took a little longer than usual in Italy, but still pretty quick. The wines were only by the bottle and no house option so we went without.

Great place to enjoy a nice meal. Local fish, good wine, great service. Enjoy with wonderful company! I won't leave a picture of the meal as it would not be doing it justice. Outside seating is recommended.

I had a great time. I especially enjoyed the crutzzia and deer ragu but I thought the menu was a bit boring and limited especially on the dessert section.
