 I stayed as a couple in August 2021; the Medusa apartment was very clean and welcoming, the location was excellent for visiting Ortigia, Roberta a very kind and very helpful owner. Highly recommended!

Cons: Broken shower door, not much toilet paper, shower didn't drain properly.
Overlall a lovely stay minus these problems :)

Clean, spacious and well equipped. Very conveniently located. Super friendly staff. Stayed for ten days and felt just like home!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Medusa apartment was the perfect place to spend a week while I learnt a bit of Italian. It has a cute little terrace with a perfect sea view, the location is ideal, close to local shops, great bars and some tasty restaurants. To cap it off Roberta was helpful and extremely responsive to all of my requests.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I stayed in the Euriale apartment for 4 nights and couldn’t have made a better choice!
The apartment is right in the centre of Ortygia, yet in a very quiet street. There is a good coffee place at the end of the street where to have breakfast or Piazza Archimede is just 3 minutes walk away. The area is full of good local restaurants for all pockets. The apartment is furnished and decorated with a lovely and simple taste and everything (TV, AC, hairdrier, kitchen) was working perfectly. The sea view from the bedroom is truly magic.
Our host Roberta couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. We had to postpone our reservation a few times due to covid and she had always been extremely accommodating. A few days before our arrival she sent us a very detailed email which included recommendations about parking, visiting and eating in Syracuse. She came to see us when we arrived and took time to show us the apartment and its features. She also recommended some places to visit that were off the beaten track and some new local restaurants that she personally tried (we went and we were not disappointed!).
Overall a very positive experience. Highly recommended.
