D	Dan Gresley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing! We visited on Christmas Eve and enjoyed the Special Menu - and it was really special! local specialities cooked to perfection and presented with style. The team were excellent and explained the dishes and traditions and the accompanying wines. The whole evening was a wonderful experience - definitely a place to recommend

The dishes are not as big as most places, but they don't have to be... everything will hit your taste buds, best place so far. We complied with this requirement, however because it was our wedding, we sat in a way that our seats faced each other. We were told to move by the staff and when we asked why (again we were following the rules with mess than 6 people at a table) we were told we could not sit that way. The server (“manager”) told us it was not his intention to ruin the wedding, when we told him he did he told us “we can’t go on like this” and told us to leave and pay for water we did not drink. We proceeded to leave and were told that we were threatening and that the manager wanted to call the police on us. I’m pretty sure they were racist - i have no other explanation for the rude treatment we experienced. No other place in Rome has treated us this way or made us feel this way so I think it is a problem with the manager himself. I wish I could leave this place a zero.

I visited La Ciambella 5 years ago and ordered their carbonara and was blown away by its flavour. I therefore didn't think twice about returning when I was in Rome last weekend. The carbonara was as good, if not better than I remembered. The service was friendly and the restaurant has a lovely ambience.

The server gave some good recommendations and was very informative and knowledgeable of the dishes the restaurant was serving. Food and wine were great, taste good and not boring! Would definitely come back if I’m in Rome again!
O	Oanh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped here for a quick lunch, but didn't realize it's fancier than we thought. I would have liked to try their tasting menu, but didn't have enough time. Overall the services and food were great. Didn't really care for the calamari sandwich though.

I got one of the fresh pastas and the portion size was smaller than I thought it would be but it was very rich and filling!! Also pictured is the hand baked bread with bread sticks. I got a very good White wine. As I’m a tourist here, I don’t have the names of those items but it was wonderful!! The service was incredible! This place is definitely expensive, so keep that in mind but the environment is very relaxed, and cozy, but very classy. The staff were very nice and explained everything that I was eating and drinking! The extensive wine list was impressive. It’s two blocks from the Panthenon but not touristy at all, I think I was one of the few in there.
