The pasta was so fresh, the fried cheese with truffle may have been one of the best things I’ve ever had! Writing this review now is making me hungry!
Great wine to pair, and just great atmosphere! We went for lunch and sat on outside on the patio.

My wife and I made the short trip from Florence to Montefioralle, and it exceeded our expectations (both this restaurant and the beautiful little town). This restaurant was definitely a favorite meal during our trip.... we both ordered off the fresh truffle menu; I had the short pasta with ground pork and truffle, and my wife had the ravioli. Both were decadent, and different enough that it was fun to trade bites. We also started with the mixed charcuterie (misto), which was huge and also great.
The outdoor seating area is literally right on a cliff, with a peaceful, quiet view of the valley below. It's an excellent respite from the crowds in Florence. The servers were very attentive, despite the outdoor seating area being across the small road from the restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful location with a view over the wine and olives on the surrounding hills. Food perfect, and they were very considerate about what is safe to eat during pregnancy, even going out of their way to adapt the dishes. Recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was amazing! I had the pasta with boar ragu and steak with truffles. This place changed my mind on which Italian region had the best food. If you drive to fast down the road you will moss the restaurant. Make sure to call to make a reservation.

Update: came back and happy to say it is the same charming local spot with Tomasso and Asia still there. Amazing bistecca and love the atmosphere xxx
