Beautiful church, with works of art and in front of the entrance door a space with benches and walls where you can pause and look from the high Montefioralle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eine der schönsten kleinen historischen Ortschaften im Chianti. Man muß nicht zu spät am Vormittag dort sein, einen Rundgang machen und Mittags gut einkehren. Später versinkt die Ortschaft in einer langen "Siesta"!
One of the most beautiful little historical towns in Chianti. You don't have to be there too late in the morning, take a tour and stop for lunch. Later the village sinks into a long "siesta"!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved this little town. Went there in October 2019, before the COVID shutdowns. Just now getting back to my memorable day in Montefioralle. There was a quaint little coffee shop with the best view I have ever seen in Italy. My dream home would be one of the ancient apartments in this little medieval looking town. Not much to do there, and didn’t meet a soul who spoke English, but I love it anyway.
I plan to go back in Spring 2022 and visit for a day. Hoping the church will be open this time.
