C	Célia V on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food and the owner is very nice. We shared the beef tartare which was delicious (small portion though, good for starter). We asked for the Raghu pasta which was not on the menu and they made it for us! Caccio and Pepe pasta was also very good and light. We had a great time thank you again!
B	Brian Pincus on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've been to Riomaggiore many times and this was our best meal by far. We had the steak along with an awesome wine from chianti and a nice salad. We saw many pastas going out which also looked amazing and the burger looked exceptional too. Full disclosure, this is a small restaurant and we felt the flow of the meal was fine however I can understand how some would say it was a touch slow. To those who are complaining - take a chill pill, relax, enjoy your wine and company and wait for amazing food to come your way. Good things are worth waiting for! Our 2016 chianti was excellent. Amazing bottle and we would be happy to drink again. Steak was expertly cooked to a perfect medium rare, nicely seasoned and served with delicious roasted potatoes. Great having a salt / pepper grinder on the side so we could adjust seasoning to our liking. Loved this place and would definitely go back - amazing restaurant in Riomaggiore!!!!

The service was phenomenal, every table was full, but she was excellent. I could write pages on the deliciousness of each meal, but you don’t want to read all that. Just know, if you are looking for somewhere to eat dinner, this is the place!

On our first evening we were lucky enough to get a reservation at this restaurant, not knowing what to expect. Our expectations were exceeded. We went for the pasta with pesto alla genovese and a tiramisu, both were super delicious and suitable for sharing. The location is ideal, just on the Main Street with cute tables outside. Service was good and friendly. Overall, great experience and would go many times again! Also seems to be popular with locals (and other Italians), so I take that as a good sign!

They do offer gluten free options (just FYI they don't have gluten free pasta), the owner is really helpful and gave us some recommendations for both food and wine pairing. I shared a meat tartare with my partner and ordered the ribeye with roasted potatoes while he decided to opt for the ribs and everything was amazing, tasty and with a nice dressing. Presentation was also great. If you do love meat then this is the place for you!

Unlike the “wanna be” restaurants we tried before (like “Dau Cila”) that brings tourist just because of their proximity to the marina view - “La Cantina” actually have a wonderful intimate atmosphere and good food. We are a wonderful Ragu pasta, caramelized stuffed onion with cheese and red wine… simply great night. P.S: most restaurant around closes super early and they accepted us around 21:40 when other places didn’t accept anyone at that time ?
