★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situato poco distante dalla stazione di Assisi, tra l'altro vicino c'è una delle fermate del bus per arrivare al centro città. Buono staff, servizio non molto veloce ma va bene lo stesso, piatti con porzioni buone e saporiti. Occhio se avete uno sconto, fate i conti alla cassa.
 Located not far from the Assisi station, among other things nearby there is one of the bus stops to get to the city center. Good staff, service not very fast but that's okay, dishes with good and tasty portions. Watch out if you have a discount, do the math at the cashier.

Tipico ristorante da gita in pullman con i prezzi sopra la media.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il ristorante si trova al lato della basilica a di S. Maria degli Angeli , ed era un punto di riferimento dei pellegrini che da ogni parte del mondo venivano ad Assisi. Il locale è simpatico , arredato alla moda Umbra , con posti distanziali, per cui si può parlare senza essere ascoltati. Il menù è tipico umbro con stupendi formaggi , salumi favolosi e tanto tartufo nero. Il personale è molto gentile, molto educato e molto efficiente. I prezzi sono accettabili e si è serviti in fretta. Bella la apparecchiatura e i vini. Bisogna andarci e godersi il pranzo o la cena, ne vale assolutamente la pena

Cucina di buona qualità ma povera nel menù. Servizio un po' lento, nel senso che si attende circa 40 minuti per iniziare a mangiare. Prezzi sopra la media.
Local in an excellent position, behind the basilica. Very clean, with indoor and outdoor seats, inside about 40 seats; no air conditioning. Good quality cuisine but poor on the menu. A little slow service, in the sense that it takes about 40 minutes to start eating. Prices above average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I had lunch here after visiting the Basilica and it was a perfect spot. It is owned by a mother and son, Drita and Igli and they are the perfect hosts. Plus the food is superb.
We started with their bruschetta which is fantastic - four pieces: one brushed with EVOO; another with tomatoes; one with a truffles and another with mushrooms.
My husband had their pasta garlic, parsley and mushrooms that melted in our mouths - so very delicious. I had their grilled pork chop with sautéed potatoes which is absolutely wonderful.
Their coffees are excellent as is their wine list. We went with their house bottled wine and for 9 Euro, it is absolutely incredible.
Prices are also very reasonable. We will return, not just for the food but for Mom and Son - Drita and Igli - two very special people.

being closed at the time. The owner was so gracious, the waiter was so funny and accommodating, we had a wonderful, wonderful time, the food, wine and dessert were all fantastic, and the experience was one of the highlights of our 9 days in Italy!
