 On several occasions I have had lunch and dinner at Cantico and I have always found myself very well. Excellent value for money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo soggiornato sabato 16 ottobre. Esperienza meravigliosa. Il proprietario ci ha accolto molto prima dell orario del normale check in senza nessun sovrapprezzo. Pulizia impeccabile. Gentilezza e cortesia al massimo. Posizione centralissima. Colazione ottima e abbondante. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. Cena meravigliosa. Non c è altro da dire solo che é ben difficile oggigiorno trovare tutto perfetto. Norme anticovid seguite al massimo ma la cosa che più mi ha stupito è la gentilezza e disponibilità del proprietario. Ci ha fatto sentire veramente a nostro agio. Torneremo sicuramente. Bruno e Elsa
We stayed on Saturday 16th October. Wonderful experience. The owner welcomed us well before the normal check in time at no extra charge. Impeccable cleaning. Kindness and courtesy to the maximum. Central location. Excellent and plentiful breakfast. Excellent value for money. Wonderful dinner. There is nothing more to say only that it is very difficult nowadays to find everything perfect. Anticovid standards followed to the maximum but the thing that amazed me most is the kindness and helpfulness of the owner. He made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back. Bruno and Elsa

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel piccolo, come tanti nella zona, ma molto ben organizzato. Posizione strategica, a 100 mt dalla porziuncola. Cortesia, disponibilità e pulizia sono i punti forti della struttura. Tavoli riservati al ristorante per gli ospiti dell'albergo, colazione più che sufficiente. Per soste di 2. 3 notti è l'ideale. ??? consigliato.
Small hotel, like many in the area, but very well organized. Strategic position, 100 meters from the porziuncola. Courtesy, availability and cleanliness are the strong points of the structure. Tables reserved in the restaurant for hotel guests, breakfast more than enough. For layovers of 2. 3 nights it is ideal. It is recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo cenato in questo grazioso localino vicino la splendida basilica di Santa Maria Degli Angeli. Siamo stati accolti da una signora molto gentile e professionale. Si mangia veramente benissimo, i piatti sono tipici del posto. I prezzi sono buoni e i servizi puliti. Consigliatissimo ??
We had dinner in this nice little place near the splendid basilica of Santa Maria Degli Angeli. We were greeted by a very nice and professional lady. You eat really well, the dishes are typical of the place. The prices are good and the services clean. Highly recommended ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Locale molto accogliente. La titolare ci ha spiegato il menù fisso e le varie possibilità alla carta. Nonostante fosse pieno i tempi di attesa sono risultati apprezzabili. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale. Il vino della casa non dozzinale. Le porzioni abbondanti e ci hanno permesso di assaggiare salumi e primi della tradizione umbra. Ristorante pulito e ben curato.
Very welcoming place. The owner explained to us the fixed menu and the various à la carte options. Although it was full, the waiting times were appreciable. Exceptional value for money. The house wine is not cheap. The generous portions allowed us to taste traditional Umbrian cured meats and first courses. Clean and well maintained restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are thinking of a nice quiet place to rest your head this is not the place. The hosts who live upstairs had their very loud television going on until 1.30am in the morning while they talked and even argued loudly to the point that i needed to inform the booking company i had booked through. If you're looking for a bit of respect and consideration look elsewhere. Breakfast is really a light snack already set down on the table before you arrive and consists of one glass of juice already served, two slices of cake, dried cracker biscuits and condiments like jam. No bread no tea just coffee. Watch out too for the extra charges not listed on the room door that might come as a surprise. Couldn't wait to tell you all that it's really not worth the stay for the price. Better to pay a little more and be treated with courtesy. Note to the host: if you're idea of yelling at guests to try to make an extra buck or two is a form of hospitality, you're in the wrong business.
