★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good dishes even if not exceptional.
Unfortunately the service was terrible.
We had to chase the waiters to have asisgn one of the available tables. Long wait to be served and exhausting waiting to taste the ordered dishes (and the restaurant was not full and was not a weekend).
Also at the moment to pay, they were not kind servig first their acquaintances when we were already waiting at the cash desk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After 7 days in Italy this was our best meal. Had the Artichoke Flan appetizer, Pheasant pasta, Fillet with Purple potatoes, Artichoke and Truffles, and Berry Cheesecake. All excellent plus good white house wine and a great dessert wine!

Disgusting first time coming to Assisi and already dealt with this type of situation ?. Dont come if you are a tourist beacuse they only serve people from their country THEY HATE TOURIST

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm not sure if the dinner experience is very different from a typical lunch here, but we were surprised by the reviews describing bad service. We came on a typical Saturday night and our server was one of the best I've met so far. Astute and attentive to the details, he put us at ease just as the excellent meal eased our hunger.
They have an excellent selection of wine and craft beer, the prices are reasonable for the quality, and the regional fare is worth the trip!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is very good, the menu is absolutely rich but surely not cheap. While it might seem to be a tourist trap being in front of a gorgeous church, we were rather surprised by its quality, from starters to the desserts. The mixed starter with the testo bread looked awesome!
