★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bello e romantico l'imbarcadero di Porto con il lungo lago e molto carino. Parte dal centro fino al circolo canottieri. Direi in 30 minuti potere passeggiare all'ombra di platani ormai secolari. Alla fine potrete allietarvi con un buon cono gelato al bar caffetteria. È vero non è come Arona, Stresa o Laveno ma è più raccolto e gradevole. Provate.
The pier of Porto with its beautiful lake is beautiful and romantic. It starts from the center to the rowing club circle. I would say in 30 minutes you can walk in the shade of centuries-old plane trees. In the end you can enjoy yourself with a good ice cream cone in the coffee bar. It is true it is not like Arona, Stresa or Laveno but it is more collected and pleasant. Try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Porto Valtravaglia si trova in una bellissima zona del lago, però mi sembra una località meno valorizzata in confronto ad altre del lago maggiore, come Baveno, Maccagno o Cannobio. Spero che la biglietteria dell'imbarcadero sia stata ripristinata.
Porto Valtravaglia is located in a beautiful area of the lake, but it seems to me a less valued location compared to others on Lake Maggiore, such as Baveno, Maccagno or Cannobio. I hope the landing stage ticket office has been restored.

In 2 weeks in October we did not see a single boat. Beautiful little pebble beach a little further with a nice park for children
