I found this quiet place, with a large square with lots of benches from where you can safely admire the lake. Not chaotic, for those who love simplicity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto spartano ma caratteristico. Sicuramente renderà meglio l'idea in estate. Non ho trovato vita sociale, forse per il freddo pungente, ma c'era pochissimo movimento. La vista dal monastero è semplicemente spettacolare. Ci tornerò sicuramente in primavera/estate per viverlo meglio.
Spartan but characteristic place. It will certainly make the idea better in the summer. I have not found social life, perhaps because of the bitter cold, but there was very little movement. The view from the monastery is simply spectacular. I will definitely be back in spring / summer to experience it better.

Picturesque glimpse located on Lake Maggiore, called Calde (the Little Portofino.) Absolutely worth visiting. With two restaurants and two Pubs adjacent to the lakefront. Pleasant relaxing walk to admire the landscape.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the one place I'd love to retire.. I would've liked to have stayed there if I could've. Some nice places to eat, very relaxing place.. Good place to go, think the younger ones might get a bit bored though..
