Una sosta deve essere fatta al monumento ai Caduti della Prima Guerra Mondiale a alla lettura delle lapidi, corredate di foto, poste all'esterno della chiesa. Non dimentichiamoci di questi ragazzi e del loro sacrificio. Evocative and panoramic place, very beautiful. Da questa posizione si diparte uno dei tanti sentieri che porta sul Montalbano. Una zona abbastanza ricca di vegetazione e animali (ricordiamoci che tutto questo lo dobbiamo alla famiglia Medici), percorsi per trekking, mountain bike, cavallo con difficoltà variabile. We locals call it the "leccione", it is a wonderful tree, a symbol of a fairly well-kept nature, positioned on a terrace that allows you to wander over the entire valley and, on lucky days, you can also see the sea. One of the many paths that leads to Montalbano starts from this position.
