★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing view, almost highest point in the city, the highest one being in the castle beside it. You can get here by metro or funicular until 22:30. The night view is even more mesmerising, but plan in advance so you can go back down with public transport.
We had to walk back down by foot and the way there was a little creepy but during it we saw another face of Napoli.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Truly stunning views from the top, I got up here for sunset and stayed to watch the darkening sky and the city below come to life.
There are a lot of steps, be prepared to be puffing by time you get to the top, and its quite slippery in the rain. Not all of the street/steps is lit very well, so just be careful if you come back down in full dark.
But honestly well worth a stop, no matter how long you're in Naples for, it doesn't take long and a real highlight.
