★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of our seafood dinner spots while in Monopoli. Lot of locals seem to frequent.
The seafood was fresh, pastas were just ok. The seafood pasta was good but the Bolognese was literally a baked mac and cheese. Tiramisu was probably the least satisfying here out of the restaurants we dined at. Staff was nice but seemed more inclined to pay attention to the locals they knew.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for lunch & got recommended their antipasti platter: lots of cold & hot fish dishes, mostly good except the prawns. Ordered a pasta as well but was too much food for lunch. Also had to pay the antipasti x2 (price was per person but not clear to us).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very popular place but it seemed like the locals dont tend to come in until fairly late (8.30pm and after). Fresh and delicious food! The guazzetto (fish soup) - the restaurant's name sake is a massive dish that is full of flavour and all the seafood you could imagine. It did take an hour and maybe a little longer to get through, as one must be careful with fish scales and bones. The dish was massive and was enough for two! Re starters, in my opinion the tuna cappacio was very overcured and so was disappointing. But as a whole this place is excellent value for money and celebrates seafood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent meal, an absolute must if you are in Monopoli. I highly recommend the plate of mixed antipasti. Very well prepared seafood & tastes very fresh ! They staff may seem curt at first, but they are extremely professional and polite, with good recommendations. Will definitely go back next time I’m in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice restaurant with local atmosphere, pleasant and friendly personnel, tasty food (especially oyster with passion fruit was delicious), located in a quite and cozy street close to the city center.
Things to improve: sometimes I had to remind about my order (wine was not brought from 1st attempt), but after reminder personnel reacted quickly and brought complete set of what I ordered. Also would be nice to have blankets to cover, when sitting outside in cold weather. I asked one for my girlfriend, but no blankets were available.
