★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 607€ per night for two adults and one child in a dirty room without minibar and room service, gym, towels etc are not included in the price and bathrobes etc are not even available.
Breakfast is basically sweets only.
The only great thing is the view.
Other hotels in this price range which i see as competitors then are for example the Bellagio in Las Vegas, the Lefay at Lake Garda or the Adlon in Berlin (actually a lot less expensive).
We stayed in every hotel stated above and it‘s not even a comparison.
Carasco is the definition of a tourist scam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hotel with a nice view of the sea. It has an infinity pool, too, and an access to the sea. No beach, though. It's far from the center but they have a shuttle until 8:30 pm. If you fail to catch it, be prepared to walk or take a taxi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms very large with a beautiful balcony view of sea. Everyone very helpful. Made sure guest whete always taken care of. Provide us with an early breakfast at 6am.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is quirky. The room is old and tired, mattress soft and shower small. However, we had 2 great meals in the hotel and the setting is simply stunning. Stunning views, nice pool and it is literally on the sea front! Ignore the bad reviews, go to this hotel - you won't regret it!

Pros:
Friendly Staff.
Easy check in.
Pool is massive.
Hotel is beautiful.
Overlooks the port and docks.
Close to main shopping and restaurants.
Free shuttle to city center.
Great view from balcony.
Cons:
Rooms need updating.
Bed mattress is box springs and uncomfortable.
Ants coming in from patio area.
Restaurant on site is mostly seafood.
Mini fridge did not get cold.
I highly recommend this hotel if you want a higher level and relaxing holiday. This will be where we stay on future Holidays to Lipari.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent and lovely place with all facilities you need to enjoy your vacation. The hotel rooms are nice, there is a big restaurant and a great pool. Food is amazing. You can reach a small beach with bright crystalline water and do snorkeling. Personnel is professional and friendly. I recommend it.
