★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot, fantastic view(especially at night and dawn) and clean room.
But don't expect much services, since it's a 1 star hotel. The free breakfast is simple, and the bedding is rough.
The night manager did not make us feel very welcomed. And the price is not friendly. But we'll probably come back again for the view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely lovely. I had the most stunning view from my window, and I was in the cheapest category of room. The desk staff were lovely and helpful, it was clean, simple, but beautiful- all I could possibly have wanted for the price. I had an amazing stay in Siena, and the breakfast was delicious too, with a variety of cakes and pastries and bread. The location though was possibly the best thing - it is literally next to St. Catherine's house, and a 5 minute walk (if you can cope with the hill) into the centre of Siena. Would highly recommend, especially for the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything was excellent and the breathtaking view on the old city from our bed and terraces.
The staff were very efficient and could communicate in English.
Our room was spacious, and the bathroom contained lots of amenities.Daily cleaning and change of towels.
We were very satisfied with the accommodations at the Hotel Alma Domus.
The breakfast would be better if there was some salami, ham and cheese for the bread. But this is a typical Italian breakfast and we had no problem

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This ancient hotel is a challenge to get to only because the entrance is down so many stairs, the taxi drops you off some distance from it. It would not be a challenge for people without luggage, but going down and back up with baggage is the only challenge. Other than that, it is adequate and clean but a small room good for the night. It at least had a nice breakfast and a nice view out the window. (see pics)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The views are absolutely phenomenal. Yes, the room is not glamorous but for our purpose which was to explore the city, we didn't need a fancy room. The breakfast was very tasty and a nice spread. We visited in October 2021 during COVID and I felt very safe with the precautions the staff and hotel took.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel was amazing, we stayed here with family , 2 kids, 2 adults.
The hotel was super clean, everything was fresh. Looks like it has been newly renovated. But the most amazing were the views , the view is majestic . It looks to cathedral and to overall city.
The breakfast was super nice, the breakfast lady was very pleasant , she fed us like her family. We felt that we were taken care of. Definitely recommend it.
