D	Darren O'Neill on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was delicious. Both the gluten free and regular pizza bases were really nice and the prices are very very reasonable. €6 for a marinara if I remember right? Crust was beautiful. Would definitely return. Bring cash for a tip because they can’t (or won’t) add it to the bill for card payment.

It was a pre-made dough and was soft as if it was cooked not baked. One could taste, that the topping was good but there was no pizza-ness at all. I cannot recommend to eat gluten free pizza @ ilpomodorino in Siena.
S	S. F. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was hesitant to go there because of the bad reviews. But since they said, only the staff was bad, not the food, I decided to give it a try. First of all I cannot complain about the staff. They were friendly enough for me to feel welcome. The pizza itself was great. I liked how they just placed the mozzarella on the pizza as a whole and you had to spread it yourself. The olives were aromatic with a sweet touch and the anchovies weren't drowned in salt like they usually are (in germany). Definitely a recommendation. PS: If you come at twelve, prepare to wait 45 minutes for your pizza. I guess they fire up the oven at twelve and it needs some time to get to temperature. But you can spend the time enjoying the great view.
F	Fanglicia Quek on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Celebrated my birthday in this place. It was a gem. It has an awesome view and delicious pizza. Price is reasonable. The staff is friendly and patient. They speak in English so there is no issue with communication. There is also a staff who can speak in chinese. It was an nice experience. Drfinitely will be back again for more variety of pizza. 4 paxs only cost us less than 60€ for 3 glasses of wines, 3 pizzas and 2 desserts. Value for money..
B	Betsy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best pizzeria at Siena, hands down! I ate a white pizza, Gola. While my friend had a red pizza, Diavolo. I literally cried while eating Gola - it was that good! My friend had Diavolo, it tasted good but it wasn't as spicy as we thought it would be. There's a huge variety of pizzas to choose from ranging from the classics to creative pizzas. There are also other dishes available but I would highly recommend the pizzas. The menu has English descriptions so it wasn't difficult to understand at all, and the waiter spoke in English as well. There is a restroom in the restaurant. The view is to die for. It is so beautiful. One of a kind. Do choose to sit outside if you can so you can take in the fresh air of Siena and the view it has to offer.

Throughout the trip, we tried to find a pizza that would top the one we had in Siena at Il Pomodorino. We ate a hearty amount of pizza in Florence, Rome, Pisa, Piombino, and many other places. But none of them compared to the first one we had in Siena. At the end of the trip, we were very happy to be back in Siena because it meant we could go back to our favourite restaurant again. Our favourite was "Alternativa". A simple pizza with a burrata on top.
