but they close very early in the afternoon. I arrived at 19.30 I could not pick up the car, because it was closed until the next day.

I will go out of my way to tell people not to use Hertz and will never use Hertz again based on this experience. I hope this review costs them more than all money and the time they wasted from us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unexpectedly for Hertz Italia the drop off here was quick and without any issues. However, I saw long queues most likely of people picking up there car - so plan time ahead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Helpful staff and although I had no experience with and had actually never heard of "stop-and-start technology", as the guy who helped me called it, once that kink was figured out (I thought the car kept dying not realizing it was supposed to) I really enjoyed the vehicle and had no issues. The preexisting cosmetic damage was accurately documented and I felt comfortable I was not going to have any issues at drop-off in Florence (which I did not). Just make sure you are comfortable with the vehicle and your route from the parking garage before exiting. They also gifted my bride and I an Italy travel guide book after discovering we were on our honeymoon. I recommend this Hertz.
