★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had starters - very good. Had the 2-person sirloin steak - very good. House white wine - good. Staff English proficiency was low , but they tried, and managed. Atmospher was nice. You definately need to reserve a table here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely not a tourist restaurant. Everyone in the restaurant was speaking Italian. The food was exceptional! Definitely off the beaten track, but if you come across it, the food is fabulous.

Update 26/02/2018: we are now eating here somewhat regularly and Garibaldi continues to be one of the best restaurants in Roma. Quality of the food is the highest and preparations are consistently excellent. The staff does not speak English with fluency, but this is Roma... and they are both accommodating and friendly, so any complaints can only come from those unwilling to embrace the experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a strange experience here. The owner initially greeted me and invited me to sit inside but the steak I received was hard and chewy and as the evening progressed I felt there was no attention to me at all anymore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just outside Rome. A traditional countryside trattoria with a nice veranda. But the strong point is definitely food. Everything top class: from mozzarella di bufala to pasta, and from meat to dessert.
I'm only sorry that they removed from the menu the "canestrini ai quattro formaggi", which was my favourite dish ?
