Much too expensive, Etna mountain is unique but it should be accessible at a lower price. Consider that a family of four people will pay more than 100 € for half an hour, 200 € for a few hours, and also small kids have to pay. They should respect tourists and stop thinking they are lemons to squeeze.

Too expensive considering they stop the lift in the afternoon and you have to take a bus back down. In our case it was unsafe as we had to wait over 40minutes in a packed queue inside the terminal (September 2020, with active coronavirus emergency). Staff was rude up there.

For Etna i give 5 points. But for the prices.. 0!!! 65 € for the Crater/Top are too much!!!!! 30 for cable car. 26 for the Busses!! And 9 for the "Guide"... Hahaha... We decided to use the cable car only and to go by walk to the top. And only pay 30 eur. Do not book the guide!!! Its senseless. They tell you that the bus tour and the guide is obligatory. You need to be in fit condition and not old if you go alone. This is important! When you are close to the crater. You need to be very carefull. There are some empty holes. The prices are like scam. Instead of investing the money in a good infrastructure.. They provide not environment friendly busses. Which are toooooooo expensive. No ways. No stairs. Nothing.... At the top: 3 € for old donuts. 3.50 € for small capucchino... Very expensive.

Cable car is pretty expensive, jeep even more expensive. For what it is just too much money, Etna is fascinating though. But keep your expectations kinda low.

Etna is totally epic, put it on your bucket list. The buses they use to get you up there are awesome. You get close enough to see lava being spewed out, it's fabulous

The price for the funicular is 30 EUR, combination with bus ride to the top and guide is 65. We took the funicular only, then followed by an hour trek up to the craters, which was a very unique experience. Recommend it. Don't forget to bring your trekking shoes, the trek tends to get very steep at some places.

As of May 16 ticket for funivia plus bus for grownups costs 69 euro (inclusive of guide service). When you buy that package do not miss the stop on the way back. It is worth climbing the crown of caldera to catch magnificent views.

I loved it It's like you step onto a different planet. Very interesting. Depending on when you go, make sure you have a windbreaker or jacket for the wind and sunglasses (for sun & volcanic dust). Due to Etna being so active this year, you're not able to go up all the way. I thought the tour guide did a great job. Explaining and informing in 3 languages in our group.
