I Giganti dolomitici ci attendono per elevare lodi al Cielo per il dono della Bellezza più eloquente di ogni altra. Il costo del servizio funicolare è purtroppo abbastanza impegnativo ma ne vale la pena... Un dislivello di oltre 1000 metri di altitudine in meno di 5 minuti... Excellent ski lift for alpine walks and excursions. The Giants of the Dolomites await us to raise praise to Heaven for the gift of Beauty more eloquent than any other. The cost of the funicular service is unfortunately quite demanding but it is worth it ... A difference in altitude of over 1000 meters in less than 5 minutes ...
C	Cristina S. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Volevamo salire con il cane ma se non ha la museruola non puoi, perciò non avendola con noi (il cane non è aggressivo) decidiamo di lasciarlo in stanza dell'hotel e di andare a goderci il panorama. La salita, tutto ok, per il panorama darei un 5 +++, per la discesa MAI PIU, se lo sapevamo che eravamo cosi ammassati, altroche rispettiamo le regole. Capienza di 100 persone invece di 125!!! We wanted to go up with the dog but if it doesn't have a muzzle you can't, so not having it with us (the dog is not aggressive) we decide to leave it in the hotel room and go and enjoy the view. The ascent, everything ok, for the view I would give a 5 +++, for the descent NEVER AGAIN, if we knew we were so crowded, we respect the rules. Capacity for 100 people instead of 125 !!!

Arrivati sù, c'è un panorama se bel tempo, stupendooooo... si vedono le montagne delle Dolomiti, Sassolungo, Sassopiatto, Gruppo Sella e Marmolada. La funivia si prende da Campitello paese e si chiama, Funivie Col Rodella Campitello cable car, here you can buy the ticket to go up Col Rodella, also called the terrace of the Dolomites. Once up, there is a view if the weather is good, stupendooooo ... you can see the mountains of the Dolomites, Sassolungo, Sassopiatto, Gruppo Sella and Marmolada. The cable car is taken from Campitello village and is called, Funivie Col Rodella

M	Marco Di Mauro on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the biggest cable car in the area, up to 150 people, quite fast (more than 10 m/sec). You get to 2400 meters from 1400 roughly in Campitello hence a 1000 m difference, so expect different weather conditions up there from what you have in the valley, especially if a cold front is passing and sky is cloudy or partly cloudy, you can expect lower temperature and greater temperature drop with altitude compared to a high pressure and sunny situation, as was our case. We got up end July and it was likely 8 deg with wind, do you own math for wind chill but the qualitative result was people and "Sunday hikers" with t shirts and light jackets going down immediately (we did the same by the way! Though we had heavy clothes but did not feel like was a good day for hiking). But on a sunny day it's a stunning view of the Dolomites with the Sassolungo, Sella group, Marmolada.
