★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Charming team, well-prepared, knowledgeable and lots of enthusiasm! We learned that Etna is always changing and it was great to go with a guide who knows it like the back of his hand and could adjust our tour to take advantage of exploring recent-ish activity safely. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Words cannot describe how beautiful this experience was. Massimo, our tour guide was super knowledgeable and passionate about the volcano. The volcano is very active at the moment but he tried his best to get us as close to the summit as possible, at the same time we felt safe all the time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great experience using Ashara company and especially Massimo as our guide for an Etna tour up to the central craters. Massimo is an experience guide, very knowledgeable about the history of Etna mountain, its nature, curiosity and he will take good care of the group. We have been also very lucky with the weather at the end of July, it was clear enough looking down all Sicily, and very clear looking up to the mountain. And Etna gave us a spectacular day with lot of vulcanic activities, explosions....everything perfect! Massimo had also some warm coffee after lunch stop to offer to all the group! It was a very welcome surprise! Massimo the best! Ashara company highly recommended!!! They organize also tours to Stromboli Island.... Grazie Massimo! We will be back for another Tour....my son (10 years old) was tired but very happy at the end. ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best choice to visit South side of Etna. As for the current situation it is forbiden to climb higher than 2900m though. Max our gide is just hilarious. All the tour he made clever jokes and made us fall in live with vulcanology. Amunini! ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Max (Massimo) our guide is enthusiastic, full of spirit, knowledge about volcanoes and loves to talk. He took us to on nice, interesting and thrilling route event though due to regulations summit visit was not possible. We reached a height of 2900m and part of it was done by cable car (which costs 30 euro per person). From shoes to jacket, everything was provided. An excellent and memorable excursion!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was just amazing! Our guide Max was very funny and very experienced. We were told a lot of interesting and well-based facts and history about the Etna volcano - no high level rubbish. Another plus was the great equipment which was included in the tour (hiking boots, jacket, etc.) Definitely recommend this tour - it was fun! Thank you, Team Ashara Volcano Guides!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome day on Etna Sud with Ashara. The 5 hour tour included amazing views of the volcano and craters, very interesting information from the guide, and a 7km hike with plenty of rests. Well worth the early start! I recommend you book directly with them for the best price as there were people who had booked with other companies that just send their customers to Ashara.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing experience, could not recommend more. Our guide Massimo was very experienced, professional and knowledgeable about Etna. He ensured our safety and involved everyone in the group. Thanks also to Mary who very ably drove us to the meeting point where shoes, jackets and equipment was provided. Etna in winter season can be foggy and windy, but we still had beautiful and splendid views. All in all an unforgettable experience.
