La Quarta Cappella è dedicata alla Presentazione al tempio. L’arte di Giuseppe Bernascone raggiunge qui uno dei suoi esiti più alti, sia per la modulazione architettonica dell’edificio che per lo studiato rapporto con l’ambiente circostante. La cappella sorge infatti sulla punta della curva che svolta decisa verso la ripida salita della Quinta Cappella, stagliandosi contro il cielo e “inaugurando” il versante del monte verso la valle dell’Olona.
Fourth Chapel: the Presentation in the Temple
The Fourth Chapel is dedicated to the Presentation in the temple. The art of Giuseppe Bernascone reaches one of its highest results here, both for the architectural modulation of the building and for the studied relationship with the surrounding environment. In fact, the chapel stands at the tip of the curve that turns sharply towards the steep ascent of the Fifth Chapel, standing out against the sky and "inaugurating" the slope of the mountain towards the Olona valley.
