Personalmente ho potuto vedere i resti di una biga romana unica nel suo genere. Peccato sia poco pubblicizzato! Da segnalare anche l'entrata incredibilmente gratuita! Rocco Museum of Etruscan Roman Roman finds, with unique objects, the result of archaeological excavations. Personally I could see the remains of a unique Roman chariot. Sin is little publicized! The mighty structure of the fortress is partly restored and open to the public. It houses unique finds and testimonies of the civilization of the Faliscan people who occupied it between the first millennium BC. C. and the III century d. C. In part still under reorganization.

Sì può visitare il museo, che esibisce principalmente reperti della civiltà dei Falerii (anche se del vasellame si potrebbe benissimo scambiare per vasi greci a figure rosse) e cartelli che spiegano la funzione delle varie parti del forte o gli utilizzi (venne usato come carcere fino a inizio 900) e le fasi del restauro. Visits are supervised and access is open every hour, until 6pm (closes at 7pm). You can visit the museum, which mainly exhibits artifacts from the Falerii civilization (although the pottery could very well be mistaken for Greek red-figure vases) and signs explaining the function of the various parts of the fort or its uses (it was used as a prison until at the beginning of the 20th century) and the phases of the restoration.

Unica nota: ci vorrebbe un po' più di cortesia del personale all'ingresso che sembrava scocciato nel dare informazioni. A nice discovery, recommended visit, nice museum inside. Dal dicembre 2014 il Ministero per i beni e le attività culturali gestisce il forte e il museo nazionale al suo interno tramite il Polo museale del Lazio, in questi giorni sono esposte due preziose coppe d'argento che rinvenute in zona per varie vicissitudini erano a Napoli. Un luogo da visitare Forte Sangallo is a fortress near the historic village of Civita Castellana, in the province of Viterbo. Since December 2014 the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities manages the fort and the national museum inside it through the Lazio museum complex, in these days two precious silver cups are exhibited that were found in the area for various vicissitudes were in Naples .
