★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can’t believe that some fake Italian police made our driver drop us at the top and then made him drive back down again just to make him walk up to the top again to explain things about the cemetery to us. I thought a really bad show.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peaceful and beautiful place honoring American GI’s who gave their life fighting in Italy. We saw a sign on the way from Florence to Chianti and stopped to walk the grounds. There were a handful of others there and the birds were chirping peacefully in the background. Very well maintained by someone. A moving experience,

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful and moving cemetery. We visited on Veteran's Day and experienced a moving ceremony. The location in the hills south of Florence is beautiful and the sight pays proper respect to our fallen heroes. Very week kept grounds and the headstones shine brightly in the sun. A must see in central Italy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can't help but cry a little bit or even a lot when you stand before the graves and all of the names of the missing.
The memorial here is classy, respectful and even beautiful.
This is located literally right by the highway to florence and should be a stop for anyone coming through but especially my fellow Americans.
