Bad place you need a reservation , When there's was 6 tables empty.... really bad attitude .. not even to go item .. I wish I could give them zero went the next day to give it , a try..!! And was confronted by the owner , felt very unsafe in there .. and decided to leave after him confronting me at the table ., so I left there's plenty of good food near by , and you won't feel uncomfortable ... at all after I was going to give him me business still give me attitude .. if you eat there make sure you don't put nothing negative about it .. I had to tell him I was going to removed it for him to leave me alone and be able to leave .. in one piece..

My wife and I were visiting Rome in the Summer of 2012 with my family, and being from Arizona we decided to introduce my parents (who are not from the US) to Mexican food. First off, let me say that if must have "authentic" TexMex or any Americanized Mexican food, you will be dissapointed. But why would you? This is Europe, live it up! This is Mexican food, with an Italian twist, at its finest! And you'd be a fool to pass this opportunity up, unless you really love pizza so much you can eat it everyday. The restaurant itself has a very friendly, and cozy atmosphere and it really made me think of some places back home (Arizona). The staff is really friendly, and although the menu is not printed in English the staff was more than willing to help us non-Italians out. We were the first customers there when it opened at 7:30pm and by the time we left at 9pm there were people waiting outside to be seated. When we asked the waitress to take a picture of us she offered to let us wear some of the sombreros that they had laying around for props, I thought this really spoke to the friendliness of the place. Food wise, there really isn't anything bad I can say about this place. Two of us ordered the fajita combo plate and loved it. Myself I ordered the chorizo (no complaints from me either), although they did add ketchup on top of it, which in my opinion it didn't need it, but what the hell, it's vacation. And finally my mom ordered a vegetarian taco dish, and loved it as well! Some things to note, if you have eaten at any US Mexican restaurant you'll expect rice to come with most fajita dishes, but this was not included. Myself I am a fan of re-fried beans, but it appears that they only serve black beans, again not a big deal, probably healthier that way anyway in between all the pizzas we have been (and you probably are) shoveling in daily anyways. Bus 62 stops right in front, there also is a tram line (line 3 and 19) that will take you to and from the metro stop (Policlinico, line B)

Nice Mexican food. Tacos could have been better. You can find craft beers too. I would give it 3.5 stars if the system allowed that.

Blech. This really does LOOK like Mexican food but I am from South Texas near the Mexican border and the only thing that remotely tasted like Mexican food is the chips and bottled salsa. The fajitas tasted like freaking Chinese food and the tacos are better out of a box from the grocery store. The margaritas tasted like cheap tequila and water with a tough of green food coloring. I wish I could give zero stars.

Went here on 7th June 2012 Have to say how much i enjoyed eating here good quick friendly service, amazing fajitas (i had combo beef and chicken ) would have to say out of this world. My wife chose the Mexican salad which was Fresh and really tasty. Would definitely recommend for people wanting to step away from Italian cuisine for a night

looks the part, but the food does not deliver on what the decor leads you to believe will arrive. sauces taste like they came from bottles, spice is absent, flavor is minimal. I can think of a more authentic Mexican resturant nearby,.. actually, we went there immediately after leaving Fiesta y Siesta. Essentially, this is a Mexican themed Italian resturant. Locals seemed to be enjoying their meals, as Americans looking for a taste of Mexico, this was a disappointment. Service was fast and friendly.

Many restaurants seem to want a reservation, I'm guessing due to limited seating. Luckily, my new husband and I were able to seated without a reservation, as were many others that followed us. He had the fajitas and I had tacos al carbon. Incredibly different from the USA Mexican food but uniquely good in their own way. Is it authentic? No. But the food was still tasty and had a little Italian flare of it's own. The guacamole and sour cream both have a very strong lime presence and the salsa was more chunky with little to no juice compared to the US. The steak for my tacos was thicker than expected and prepared so juicy and delicious. I was thrown off by the crispy fried potato wedges but again, different but good.

When you enter, you get a feeling like you arrive to a little village in Mexico.... And the food is delicious. The waiter was very nice and spoke English.
