★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered our meal to-go through a delivery service. We LOVED the pescado & carnitas tacos--very flavorful & cooked perfectly. The al pastor tacos were good too, but the pineapple was super dry, maybe if they were more char-grilled or juicy. The barbacoa tacos were our least favorite taco we ordered only because it was dry & the least flavorful of them all, but that's how most barbacoa tacos are.
The only thing that was super disappointing was nachos. It was all just a bunch of separate, plain ingredients slapped into a container for 7eur. Nothing fancy, don't waste your money on it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good Mexican food in a little gem hidden in Rome. It’s in a beautiful secluded area, but the restaurant itself is very small and has low capacity, therefore the wait time for a table is very long (we waited outside for around 40 minutes). The food is reasonably priced and quite filling, and the staff are very pleasant and charismatic. The portion sizes are good and the range of offered meals is commendable with such a small kitchen to make the food in. The items in the picture are burritos. With great food, good prices, and a beautiful location, Pico’s Taqueria is a wonderful little place. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars and not 5 is because of that extremely long wait time (namely at dinner times) and no proper waiting or space reserving system.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cristian was amazing!! We wanted great Mexican food, and it was best in Rome! We have been here for weeks and tired of pizza and pasta. Cristian was an amazing server. Felt like home!! Made it amazing! Perfecto!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m from Texas so I’m very used to eating Mexican food. I was a little weary about Mexican food in Rome, but because I was only going to be here for 2 nights and it was my last night; I decided I wanted to try it. The restaurant was packed and my friends and I didn’t have a reservation. The man that sat us ended up being our server, and he did everything he could to make sure that we would be able to eat that night. He helped with recommendations and I ended up getting a burrito and a margarita. The burrito was massive and so delicious. Actually better than some burritos I’ve had in texas. The margarita was so strong and they ended up giving us 2 free shots on the house! The environment was so fun and lively and enjoyable and everyone there was so nice. Definitely eat here it was worth it! 100% recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place. Lots of seating. Great music and fun vibes. Love the amount of choice on the menu and the fact they have Beaverton beers was a bonus as I’ve not seen this in Rome before.
Pineapple was missing from our tacos and the pork was a little dry but this was day 2 so maybe teething problems. I’m not loving the ordering system where you have to queue up to order, fast food style. I’d rather the waiters take my order!
All in all I’ll be back as staff were friendly and the burritos looked very good :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic Mexican food at Picos!! Quesadillas, bowls and Nachos were amazing. So friendly and fun! Max hooked us up with killer food and Coronas with limes! They are moving to a bigger place in the same area January 15, 2022 with more seating and a bar! WE WILL BE BACK!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We wanted to try tacos here in Rome, we found this place and it was definitely an excellent choice. First we got the nachos with pastor meat and it was simply delicious. The pastor and barbacoa tacos we ordered were also incredibly good, including the salsas and everything that comes with it. The place is clean and offers a nice environment to enjoy delicious authentic Mexican food. Max the owner was very nice, he invited us a shot of tequila. Excellent service and delicious food!!! Highly recommended!!!
